OptiFog

OptiFog adds a rejuvenator to a successful CQS-LM asphalt emulsion formula, to extend the life of asphalt surfaces and cures or sets faster than conventional fog seals with resistance to tracking. The unique formula restores existing asphalts to improve the longevity, durability and condition of the pavement by several years.

Extends a pavement’s life 2 to 4 years, depending on the existing conditions.

Mastic Seal

Onyx & Axys

Our mastic seals are a premium seal coat. These high polymer formulas are designed to be quick drying, very durable, and impermeable. Additionally, they hold their dark color through the years. Onyx was formulated for use on any road, from residential to collectors, and has the skid resistance for roads with up to 55mph speed limits. Axys is for roads 25mph and under, and is fortified with more toughness for the tight turning of your garbage trucks or power steering burns.

Extends a pavement’s life 5 to 6 years, depending on the existing conditions.

Tack

CSS-1H

Tack Coat, more accurately called Bond Coat, is critical to the long-term performance of an asphalt pavement. Bond coat ensures proper bonding between layers of asphalt. A strong bond between pavement layers transmits traffic loads through the pavement structure. When properly bonded, the cross section of a road will act as a single unit, ensuring vital structural integrity and helping prevent many of the major problems associated with road failures. Our CSS is used in a variety of jobs all over the state. If it is a diluted job or concentrate, we have the product for you. We also carry ADOT certified CSS.

Fog Seal

Fog seal is a single application, typically light, of emulsified asphalt to an existing asphalt surface. This type of maintenance treatment can be valuable, inexpensive aid to renew weathered (oxidized) asphalt surfaces and improve the surface appearance, seal minor cracks and surface voids, and inhibit raveling.

Chip Seal

CRS-2 & CRS-2P

A Chip Seal, is the most widely used pavement preservation method today. Chip seals produce an all-weather surface that renews weathered pavements, improves skid resistance, aides in lane demarcation, and seals and protects the underlying road surface. Chip seal binders can be polymer modified as well to improve aggregate retention and provide for a quicker return to traffic. Chip seals are a great addition to your pavement maintenance program.

This will extend the life of the roadway by 7 to 10 years depending on the condition of the roadway.

Slurry

CQS-1H & CQS-LM

Slurry seal is a surface treatment designed to extend the life of asphalt pavements in good condition by providing skid resistance, restricting moisture intrusion, protecting the structure from further oxidation and raveling, and restoring a uniform black appearance. Slurry seal is a quick-traffic system that allows traffic to return shortly (from one to four hours) after placement. We manufacture consistent slurry emulsions for all of your needs, both straight CQS or latex modified.

Adds 5 – 7 or more years, depending on the existing conditions.

Seal Coat

Quality Seal & OptiSeal

Quality Seal uses carefully selected, high performing raw materials, including a unique polymer. Formulated to be dark black, and tough, we strive to keep your asphalt protected from the damaging effects of the sun and rain. Quality Seal is formulated to be applied on anything from parking lots to HOAs, for use in the mountains of Utah to the hot Phoenix valley.

OptiSeal was formulated for increased toughness, adhesion and resistance to wear. OptiSeal has increased aggregate amount to improve the skid resistant texture for vehicle traffic. For use on low speed roads and HOAs.

Micro Surfacing

MSE

Micro surfacing is a premium product based on specially selected aggregates and polymer modified asphalt emulsion. Micro surfacing is a surface treatment designed to extend the life of asphalt pavements in good condition by providing skid resistance, restricting moisture intrusion, protecting the structure from further oxidation and raveling, and restoring a uniform black appearance. It is the most economical choice when leveling is required. Micro surfacing is a quick-traffic system that allows traffic to return shortly (typically less than one hour) after placement.

Adds 6 – 8 years or more, depending on the existing conditions.

Crack Seal

Hot Applied & Cold Pour

Cracking in most pavements is inevitable, and if left untreated, can cause massive pavement failure like potholes and sub base failure. Crack sealing is a cost-effective method to treat all types of cracks greater than 1/8” to prevent the infiltration of moisture into the pavement structure. Quality Emulsions carries the premium Maxwell Products line of crack seal.
